Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup

The Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup is organised by:
- HKU LKS Faculty of Medicine; and
- Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council;
and co-organised by: (in alphabetical order)
- Association of Principals of Government Secondary Schools;
- Grant Schools Council Hong Kong; and
- Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council.
The goal of this Cup is to inspire secondary school students in Hong Kong to cultivate empathy towards real-world health issues, utilize evidence-based research principles effectively, and harness their creative spirit to develop innovative health and biomedical technologies through research projects.
Themed “Health Technology & Innovation”, participating secondary school teams are tasked with 1) identifying and addressing a health problem, 2) proposing an innovative solution and 3) developing an action plan with solution and implementation steps. Their concepts will be evaluated through a poster, a video and a live presentation across three rounds:
- Preliminary Round: Poster Submission and Project Showcase Expo
- Semi-final: Final Poster with 5-minute Video Presentation
- Final: Live Presentation (10 Teams)
